5. Sean Lowe
“Shalom-Koinonia”- it means Hello - Fellowship! My name is Sean Lowe and I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve the youth of Chickasaw United Methodist Church (CUMC) and the great city of Chickasaw, Go Chieftains! I hope you will join me in prayer as we reach today’s youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We can impact lives by our example through serving, sharing, and sacrificing so that God may be glorified in all that our church is doing to reach the community.
For over 16 years my wife I have been serving and ministering to youth in different capacities. God has blessed us by His enrichment through growth of every ministry I have been a part of including student ministry, my professional counseling ministry, and our personal ministry to our family. I have every confidence that with His help and the help of my lovely wife of 16 years, Amy; daughter of 14 years, Julianne; and son, Matthew, soon to be 11, that this will be no exception.
My family and I have been praying for direction with the youth of CUMC that over the next few months we will see a transformation in impacting today’s youth for tomorrow’s service. We have begun to plan events of outreach, trips, and of course FUN! Our Wednesday nights and Sunday nights will be transformed into a ministry that will reach our students from Middle school (6-8th grade), Jr. high (9th – 10th), and Sr. High (11th -12th). It is my vision that ministry be designed to meet their level of maturity while challenging them to grow in maturity spiritually, mentally, and physically.
I hope that you, the church, will join my family and I in prayer, volunteering, and support in making our student ministry successful in all aspects. CUMC student ministry can grow bigger and better than yesterday by - ministering today to serve for tomorrow. I look forward to working with the congregation in fulfilling God’s command of making disciples in His name!
